Dennis Villa Pando, Wood Sculptor and Folk Artist
505-988-3244
About the artist
Dennis Villa Pando uses chain-saws to create wood sculptures and folk art. A native of Northern New Mexico, he has been carving for over 17 years. Because of his long experience, his work is versatile – he carves sculpture inspired by native Southwest birds, animals and plants, but also carves rustic furniture and garden planters for porches and patios. His new line of artwork combines metal and wood using recycled and found materials.
When in Santa Fe, come visit Dennis and watch him work along Old Las Vegas Highway, on the way to Harry’s Road House. If you are interested in his work, you can contact him at 505-988-3244.
Legal Art solution
Dennis understands the heart of negotiating relationships and establishing business policies. After a legal analysis, he adopted a wholesale model, avoiding consignment sales, and instead works with retail outlets to sell artwork on terms that benefit both them and him. Dennis has a very entrepreneurial approach to marketing and discovering sales venues.
